CENTRASTATE HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION’S CELEBRATION BALL BROUGHT THE CUBAN CAPITAL TO DOWNTOWN FREEHOLD

CentraState Healthcare Foundation hosted its 55th Celebration Ball at South Gate Manor in Freehold. Nearly 300 guests enjoyed the 1950s Cuban-themed event, “A Night in Havana,” that brought a little bit of the Cuban capital to downtown Freehold.

Antique cars, provided by the Antique Motoring Club of Monmouth County, greeted guests as they arrived.

Co-chairs Dr. and Mrs. Robert Gordon and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Mattia headed the Ball Committee, and proceeds from the event bene_ tted the Pediatric Center at CentraState Medical Center. In all, $240,000 was raised, with the help of major event sponsors: CareOne Management LLC, Freehold Radiology, OceanFirst Bank and Foundation, the Medical and Dental Staff of CentraState Medical Center, Liberty Pain Center, and NK ASrchitects.

A live auction, led by Carol Stillwell, was a considerable money maker for the Pediatric Center.

“It’s all about supporting the littlest patients at CentraState. We are happy to help provide children and their families a comfortable place to heal,” said Patta Mattia, cochair of the Celebration Ball.
