A LUXURY BRAND REDEFINES EXPECTATIONS OF A FREESTANDING TUB WITH A NEW COLLECTION OF THERAPEUTIC DESIGNS

BY MATT MIZRACH

Its name inspired by the Milanese opera house Teatro alla Scala the Scala brand has applied the opulence of that venue to its new collection of therapeutic bathtubs. Blending features of modernism with classical elegance, the resulting pieces are not only stunning, but offer benefits claimed by the maker to include staving off pain and stress.

Seen here is the Scala 7242, a freestanding model designed with a wider seat and integrated head rests. It can be upgraded with patented Thermomasseur technology, offering the user hydro thermo massage via its 41 air jets. Also available is the Illuzio system six well hidden LED lights that provide the added benefits of “chromotherapy.”
