Championship boxing was on display on January 19th at the Hilton Garden Inn, in a first-of-its-kind occasion for the island venue. The evening—which boasted a packed crowd of 1,300— featured five matches (including a women’s fight) and an ultimately winning bout from Staten Island’s own Nicky “Little Nicky” DeMarco. VIPs were invited to a pre-fight cocktail hour and later attended a post-fight party.
