Island Inspired
It has been a long and dreary winter, so we don’t blame Ralph Lauren for taking an escape to the Caribbean for some inspiration, and as a result, the all American designer chose an island vibe to spice his Spring 2018 collection. RL’s color palette was shades of blue and white, on versatile pieces like Bermuda shorts, flouncy skirts, shirtdresses, and tie dye jackets. Details like feather fringes and shaggy ruffles also punctuated the new lines. Even Lauren’s accessories, in shades of tan, white, and blue, stuck with the theme the result a chic, relaxed, and cohesive collection.

It’s time to air out the old Hermés and Versace neck pieces in your closet, because, if this chilly early spring is any indication, you’ll be needing them, even in June.
