ECHO Foundation raises funds and awareness with help from John Rzeznik of ‘The Goo Goo Dolls’
April 28th was a very special night for many Island supporters of the ECHO foundation as they were treated to a very intimate solo performance by John Rzeznik of the hit rock group ‘The Goo Goo Dolls‘. The Emergency Children’s Help Organization “ECHO” is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to a child experiencing a challenging medical or living emergency. ECHO’s goal is to help ease the burden financially, along with brightening the child’s life during a time of crisis and this performance and this fundraiser helped to raise a lot of money towards the foundations mission.
Many of the Island’s top business professionals and our best political figureheads; Borough President James Molinaro, Assemblyman James Oddo, and Congressman Michael Grimm, came out to provide support for ECHO.
