FITNESS REVOLUTION
Ninja Warrior, a jungle themed sports and adventure gym, opened for business in Mount Laurel this past November. The facility, which features a two tier obstacle course and 15 foot warped wall, was inspired by the TV show American Ninja Warrior. Its patrons can also make use of a rock wall, a parlour arena, obstacle course racing areas, and fitness classes. The 40,000 square foot space was converted from an indoor tennis complex and has been renovated with wall to wall alternative training and sporting equipment.

Warrior Gyms

“Warrior Gyms will be at the forefront of the next fitness revolution. After working in the health and fitness industry for 15 years and competing on American Ninja Warrior, we’re excited to be at the leading edge of this paradigm,” said cofounder, Brian Kane. 14 Federal Street, Mount Laurel, warriorgyms.com

HOTEL MAKEOVER
Makeup mogul Bobbi Brown may have left her eponymous cosmetics brand in 2016, but for the past two years has been working on her biggest makeover yet. Meet The George, a chic 32 room boutique hotel in Montclair, only 12 miles west of Manhattan. The property, which Brown debuted in April her with husband Steven Plofker, is at once stylish and cozy, with its slate coffered walls, furniture sourced from One Kings Lane, plaid headboards, and red mini fridges. Weekend rates range from $250 to $450 per night, and guests receive complimentary breakfast during their stay. Because Brown is also an animal lover, the smoke free hotel is also pet friendly (dogs receive VIP treatment for a $75 flat fee). 37 North Mountain Avenue, Montclair, thegeorgemontclair.com
