Osteria Cucina Rustica in Marlboro Township hosted a fundraiser in honour of Emelina Sergentakis, a 4 year old girl battling leukemia. On hand were games, food, music, raffles, a silent auction, and even an ice cream truck generously donated by Ray Catena. A variety of other sponsors were involved, too, including CoCo Pari, INDUSTRY magazine, and ECHO (Emergency Childrens Help Organization).

“All in all we had a very successful day, with over 300 people in attendance, and raised enough money to help [Emelina’s] family with any expenses they may have,” Osteria Cucina Rustica management explained. “She will be undergoing treatment until 2020. She’s doing great and back in school. Her parents and big sister, Evangeline, are all very proud of her, and heloing her with this difficult journey.”
