“We had new cabinets custom made, tiled the floor and walls, and installed LED lighting throughout,” noted owner Scott Wolf, who has been in the jewelry industry for more than two decades. “We also decorated the store with chandeliers and dramatically expanded the inventory.”

Wolf Jewelers, which has been in the mall for 15 years and carries a range of designer pieces at all four of its stores, added Movado watches to the Ocean County inventory and also branched into bridal.

“We carry those brands in our other stores and now have the showcase space to carry them here,” Wolf said. “We’re bringing a lot of fashion forward brands into this mall and also o er a variety of services, including watch repair.”

The store, located next to H&M and in close proximity to the food court, will still feature Pandora, one of its best sellers.
“In fact, we’ll continue to provide all the same items we had in the past,” Wolf concluded. “Our selection is just more extensive now.” 1201 Hooper Avenue, wolffinejewelers.com

A HEATHCARE COMPLEX GROWS
Sal Cannizzaro and SFC Enterprises celebrated the grand opening of the Marlboro Medical Arts Complex in early November, completing one of two phases of an extensive construction project.
The 24,000 square foot medical complex, which is anchored by CentraState Health Pavilion, houses urgent and primary care facilities as well as offices for a physical therapist, orthodontist, bariatric surgeon, orthopedist, and OB/GYN. A second building of equal size, which will feature a surgery center and additional medical office space, is currently under construction at the same site.

“I bought this site in 2005, so this ribbon cutting has been a long time coming,” said Cannizzaro, who owns and operates nine urgent care locations throughout the state. He got his start in this sector when the economy forced him to shelve some real estate plans.

“Plans for this lot were on hold during the recession, so I learned about urgent care and became fascinated by the model,” Cannizzaro said. “I became a member of the Urgent Care Association of America and opened my first center in 2012 with the help of one of my doctor friends. I continued to learn more about the business and opened up several more within the next couple of years,” adding that he works closely with his son, Frank, to develop each of his properties.

“We’re a busy company that has grown tremendously in the past five years,” he concluded. “We’re providing much needed services to this community as well as many neighboring towns. I hope to have even more growth in the future.” 479 Newman Springs Road, Marlboro, centrastate.com
