Don’t Be A Bully
NYC arts cypher, a nonprofit organization that promotes positive values through arts and entertainment hosted the first ever ‘Dine Out Against Bullies’ Campaign featuring fifteen borough restaurants. The different establishments donated 20 percent of their diners bills to the “Anti-Bullying Campaign.”
Charlie Balducci, founder of NYC arts cypher in Stapleton, reviewed the day’s success at Lorenzo’s, in the Hilton Garden Inn, saying ”When kids work together, they don’t judge one another.” The campaign turned out to be an island-wide success with so many different participating establishments, including Angelina’s Ristorante in Tottenville; Cucumber Sushi in Huguenot; Il Divo in Dongan Hills; Daddy O’s BBQ & Sports Bar in Great Kills; Dugout South in Great Kills; Espana Royale in Bulls Head; Goodfellas in Castleton Corners; Italianissimo in South Beach; Lorenzo’s; Marina Cafe in Great Kills; Nove in Richmond; Nucci’s South in Tottenville; Play Sports Bar in Annadale, and Portobello Cafe in Great Kills.
