A considerable number of Christian Louboutin’s fall shoe designs were actually inspired by 1960s and ’70s interiors featuring rich, luxurious materials not traditionally seen in footwear. The collection encompasses bold, ostentatious designs that represent Louboutin’s famously free spirited energy. The now 54 year old French designer turned heads in the fashion world when he introduced trendsetting red-soled shoes in the 1990s, and his name has only gathered power since, with a brand that has extended to bags and beauty products.
