A progressive narrative
Tom Ford continues to push boundaries when it comes to runway collections. For spring, surprises were in abundance, in both design and hue selection. Runway examples included wide lapelled suit jackets with slim fits for work and evening wear, followed by striking, psychedelic, and daringly short swim trunks. Those e orts were only rivaled by the brand’s vivacious evening jackets. Other wearable trends from today’s crown prince of versatility included a variety of waffled henleys and new age and at once roomy but tailored looking denim pieces.

The athleisure trend continues its full steam ahead course for the new season. Spring offerings include designs in technical fabrics, eye catching color themes, and modern silhouettes. Options like a bomber style jacket paired with matching pants were also favorites, and potential wearers can think of the sum as a synergy between casualwear and sophisticated street style one that departs noticeably from the “straight from the court” concept. Pieces came from Valentino, Bottega Veneta, and Ermengildo Zegna many in an earthy palette.
