HUBLOT’S BIG BANG UNICO CARBON HITS THE SWEET SPOT, AMONG STYLISH GOLFERS PARTICULARLY

BY ARCHANA AITHAL ROSE

Fusing technical refinement with cutting-edge design, Hublot a Swiss luxury watchmaker founded in 1980 by Carlo Crocco continues to fascinate and innovate. In line with the company’s tradition of inspirational fusion, its latest offering, the Big Bang, is a unique series combining sport styles with radical, open dials. In a polished titanium case and bezel, this one features a matte skeleton dial, revealing the automatic movement. It comes with a calf leather strap and a carbon fiber and grey texalium upper bezel. The case, a meld of carbon fiber and aluminum that Hublot exclusively developed, makes the whole extremely lightweight, less than 100 grams. That same case (45mm) is fashioned in matte black, with satin-finished rhodium plated appliques and a white luminescent dial. Water resistant, with a self-winding movement and a golf function that allows duffers to count shots, holes, and totals on the course. Packaged in a box fitted with golf balls and accessories, this piece of haute horology is ideal holiday gifting for timepiece connoisseurs and sports aficionados.
