McQUEEN’S LEATHER MOTO COMBINES POWER AND PURPOSE

Creative Director of Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton has articulated her own vision for the brand, while honoring its late founder. Her collections, though often inspired by geographic locations, are still rooted to a British sensibility—with a twist of her own imagination.

For this season, Burton took her team to Cornwall in the United Kingdom. Inspired by the region’s ancient traditions and medieval armor, her fall collection found further inspiration in a local “Cloutie” tree, where people tie rags and ribbons as wishes and mementoes.

This shearling and leather cropped moto is made from buffalo leather with curly dyed lamb shearling from Italy. Its oversized collar is trimmed with plush pink fur, and finished with an extra-long belt at the waist and biker-style hardware.
