A stunning new Long Branch residential development brings the serenity of the sea ashore with creative flair

“This is not a print—it’s a singular piece of art,” says Roy Stillman, the developer behind The Atlantic Club Residences. “The medium is a building.” He is reflecting on this collection of 132 one-to-five-bedroom condominium residences—many with unobstructed ocean views—that are expected to complete construction in early 2027.

The Atlantic Club Residences span four acres of pristine oceanfront in Long Branch. At first glance, the property is a collection of creative inspirations, drawing from the best of modern design. The two-tower construction is inspired by Miami’s Fontainebleau resort, and the double-height lobby takes its cues from the Chanel flagship in Paris. The lobby also features stunning textile art curated by Cristina Grajales, from Colombian atelier Hechizoo, that suggests the sun touching the sea. Walking through the space, a resident might catch different glimpses each time. A development of this caliber is meant to be discovered and rediscovered, over and over.

“I have this design concept called the slow burn,” Stillman said. “I want this to be like your favorite book. You have to read it a few times before you understand it entirely.”

Like a good book, this work of art is meant to be enjoyed. Stillman likens the development to a members-only country club, but with family appeal, a multigenerational hub for people to connect, unwind, and play. On hand are over 75,000 square feet of amenities, an expansive offering that rivals that of even the most robust resorts. Residents can enjoy state-of-the-art wellness amenities, including a luxury spa (and pet spa for furry friends) and a fitness center with dedicated spinning, yoga and meditation studios. When a little entertainment is the order of the day, try the private cinema, virtual reality room, sports simulator, or the billiards and poker lounge. For the artistically inclined, there’s a music practice room. Sooner or later, though, the sunshine will beckon, and when it does, head up to the expansive pool deck, a work of art in its own right, complete with sunbeds, fire pits and barbecue grills for unforgettable evenings over the water.

The residences themselves are masterclasses in design, a fitting distinction for a roster of homes that promise to be the anticipated addresses on the Atlantic.

“What we’re not is a commodity,” Stillman said. “When you have a commodity, you build units. With an art project, we’re building something with an emotional connection.”

Stillman’s team thoughtfully designed the layout of each home, prioritizing usability, movement and community. Some residences went through a rigorous design review of over 20 iterations.

“I have this design theory, in terms of the layout of a home, and it is the fewer times you have to turn your body to go from one place to another inside the home, the better the design,” Stillman said. “The idea is flow, harmony and easy transition through the space. You know you got it right when it’s simple, and it takes a great deal of sophistication to achieve simplicity.”

A resident can expect to pop their head out and see what their family is up to in the kitchen or the great room with just one step from their bedroom, keeping the focus on family close to the surface of the design.

Moving through the space, luxe touches abound. Kitchens are finished with top-flight appliances—Wolf, Sub-Zero and Cove all making appearances. Baths includes custom vanities and beautiful porcelain tile. And because there are no public commercial spaces attached, each residence is a truly private oasis. When it’s time to return to the world, the accompanying terrace awaits, offering a panoramic view of the ocean.

At its heart, The Atlantic Club Residences are a place for people to come together in beautiful surroundings. These are homes for people who value a thoughtful, social community, who appreciate artistry, calm and connection. (Stillman tells the story of one resident who felt so attached to these ideas that she offered to gift a piano to the music practice room for her neighbors to enjoy.)

An Atlantic Club Residence owner is one who appreciates a respite—someone seeking serenity and refinement. Floor plans started at $1.35 million for 1.5 beds, and can exceed $4 million for certain configurations. Topping off of the Residences was completed in July; buyer move-ins are expected to begin throughout the rest of 2026, with final project delivery marked for early 2027. The last available penthouse sold in May, and prices begin at $1.5 million for remaining inventory. For those seeking a luxury escape, there are few residences with more to recommend them.
