Mary Weir, co-founder of Ludo Collaborative Arts, presented a “Musical Journey” at the magnificent Polo Club in Holmdel. Lisa Sherman (song bird) and Bob Egan (pianist) entertained their supporters and raised funds for a new program they are running at Lunch Break, HealthRHYTHMS. The program guides participants through a series of ten steps that facilitates communication, cultural expression, and unity. The goal of HealthRHYTHMS is to build community and inspire successful living.

The Brookdale Community College Foundation proudly hosted its annual Scholarship Bash in May at Branches in West Long Branch. The successful event was a celebration of philanthropy, education, and community spirit. The Scholarship Bash serves as a platform to recognize individuals and organizations whose unwavering commitment to education and student advancement has significantly impacted the community. This year’s distinguished honorees were celebrated for their outstanding contributions to fostering educational opportunities and empowering students to achieve their academic and career aspirations. The honorees included: Andrew Kroon Memorial Scholarship, Richard Kroon & Suzanne Keller, Automated Building Controls and The Golden Family, and Rob Kash, President of Great Restaurants, NJ Hospitality Group.
