One of Miami Beach’s most iconic thoroughfares, Collins Avenue connects a panoply of high-end shops, luxe hotels, and Art Deco landmarks along its palm-shaded 13-mile drag from the tip of South Beach to the white-sand shores of Sunny Isles Beach. Here, the avenue runs parallel to the Atlantic, cutting through a platoon of swanky high-rises all standing at attention against the brilliant blue waters: the neo-mod Porsche Design.

Tower, the dual-tower Estates at Acqualina, the wind-swept Ritz Carlton Residences, and the sculptural splendor of Jade Signature, a textured monolith on 300 feet of prime ocean frontage. Each of the 192 residences boasts airy open interiors with breathtaking vistas of the sea and cityscape, but the best views are often from the top, and Jade is no exception: this two-story penthouse, located on the top floors of the 57-story tower, is swimming in stunning panorama.

Designed by Pritzker Prize–winning Swiss architect Herzog & de Meuron, Jade Signature marked its grand opening in 2018. The pent house collection serves the crème de la crème of the high-rolling coastal lifestyle: towering ceilings, unobstructed 360-degree views of the ocean, expansive wraparound terraces with fire pits and plenty of seating for lapping up sunshine alongside canapés and champagne.

Cellini Spread

In 2022, this two-story showpiece was gobbled up by Adam Weitsman, a scrap metal and crypto mining mogul with a $1 billion empire in New York. The penthouse exchanged hands again this spring via The Chad Carroll Group at Compass, releasing new images of the palatial six-bedroom duplex and it’s every bit as lavish as one might expect from an ultra-luxe tower’s top ticket. Boasting 12-foot ceilings and 12,000 square feet of interior living space (along with another 7,500 square feet of al fresco terraces), the property is sheathed in floor-to-ceiling glass walls for exceptional natural light.

The private elevator opens to a bright and airy foyer, anchored by glossy white marble floors and cradled by a wood and marble partition with dramatic veining. The generous open floorplan leaves ample options for both dining and relaxing: three family rooms, all outfitted with plush oversized sofas, a formal dining room with a 12-person table under a sculptural light fixture, a sunny breakfast nook, and an intimate kitchen island top for casual charcuterie or hors d’oeuvres. And that’s merely the interior; outside, there are over a dozen seating setups, from six-person sofas to dinner tables and languid lounge chairs. Fancy a dip? Jade Signature’s freeform resort pool is a visual spectacle, but why take the elevator when you can soak in your private sky pool? The sunset-facing terrace features a large circular pool and spa overlooking Miami’s grandeur.

Back inside, the master suite is a course in comfort. Stretching the entire southern wing of the bottom floor, it houses the light-blanketed bedroom and sitting area, private den with a built-in wet bar, and a massive bathroom with separate his-and-her dressing quarters. The bathroom is the size of an NYC studio, with a glass-enclosed shower, freestanding tub, sauna, steam room, and Cleopatra chair in the corner. Even the closets feature floor-to-ceiling windows with water views.

When moments call for a two-finger pour of a rare single malt, the lounge is equipped with a floor-to-ceiling, built-in marble bar and glass-front wine cellar, where a trio of cobalt blue velvet barstools introduce a kiss of chroma. The home’s primary color palette is soft and neutral, reflecting the calm of the coast, but thoughtful injections of pigment lend a playfulness to the luxe think moody murals, abstract art, and accent chaises. A den, for example, is finished with a breezy palm motif on one wall, along with tufted pink chairs and an emerald L-shaped sofa.

The home office is particularly glamorous, a fitting lair for a self-made billionaire. A designer wooden desk rests in the glow of back-lit built-ins housing art and artifacts from around the world. The room also features a white and gray marble TV wall, crisp white circular sofa, and another wet bar with mirrored finishes and a wine refrigerator. The double-height billiards room offers a stairwell to the upper level, where denizens will find additional en-suite bedrooms and the lounge, along with even more terraces, each offering yet another opportunity to soak in the sights of the Magic City. If catching the sunset would be a shame without a libation in hand, there’s also a generous floor-to-ceiling wine cellar. Your only conundrum? Which terrace will you choose tonight?
