BOASTING CUTTING-EDGE BALLISTICS ARMOR, KEVLAR-WRAPPED MECHANICS, AND TACTILE DEFENSES AGAINST TRACKERS AND TRAITORS, REZVANI’S GENERAL APPROVED AND CIVILIAN LEGAL TANK IS BRAWNY, BULLETPROOF, AND THOROUGHLY BADASS

BY AMANDA MCCOY

In 2017, the California-based high-performance automaker Rezvani released its second product, a military-style truck (aptly named Tank) to join its inaugural door less street racer, the Beast. The announcement bore a brand new vehicle category: Xtreme Utility Vehicle, or XUV. While automakers regularly toss around terms like “revolutionary” and “first of its kind,” the details surrounding Tank quickly confirmed the designation was more than clever marketing speak. is rapacious road warrior, with a Kevlar protected fuel tank, bulletproof glass, and military-grade survival kit, was indeed not your standard SUV.

While the entry-level Tank is ridiculously padded with 37-inch all terrain tires, a beefy 4×4 system with FOX o-road suspension, and thermal night vision, for an additional $84,000, zealots can spring for the Military Edition for maximum badassery. The XUV is fully encased in ballistic level 7 bulletproof glass capable of fielding high-caliber weapons and assault rifles and features underside protection that can withstand explosives. The radiator, battery, and fuel tank are all coated in Kevlar, and electrified door handles and magnetic deadbolts ensure any theft attempts would be as futile as attempting to outdrive the 1,000-horsepower 6.2L V8. Should pilots ever find themselves in a high-speed Bond-style chase, the vehicle can deploy a train of dense smoke at the touch of a button to ward otrackers. Additional defenses include blinding front and rear lighting, a built-in console safe, robust ram bumper, and a full intercom system with external speakers, so drivers can communicate with outside villains without opening the doors. Despite all the external brawn, the interior is lush and luxurious, featuring ten options for leather-wrapped seating and a Starlight Headliner that emulates the celestial night sky.

The vehicles are fully street legal and daily drivable, and while there’s no guarantee there will ever be a need to deploy the Smoke Screen, drivers will be prepared for everything from tough terrain and inclement weather to the zombie apocalypse. The Military Edition begins at $259,000.
