In May, the father/son duo Marco and Joseph Chirico celebrated the tenth anniversary of their Carroll Gardens restaurant, Enoteca on Court. VIP Guests, family members, and dining regulars joined at the back terrace/party room for a night of dancing, drinks, and (of course) great food. Both Marco and Joseph mingled with guests as they enjoyed hand passed hors d’oeuvres, Champagne, and selections of red and white wine.

Enoteca on Court the sister restaurant to the also acclaimed Marco Polo Ristorante (opened by the elder Chirico in 1983) began as a passion project for the family duo. Ten years later, it is still delivering some of the best Italian cuisine the borough has to offer, in a trendy and intimate setting. An authentic Neopolitan oven serves as a centerpiece (hand constructed by two craftsmen from Naples), and produces pizzas, paninis, and bruschettas, along with a number of other dishes.

“The restaurant has a neighborhood feel to it, but with a distinctly Italian twist,” Marco explained. “You feel like you’re in a little Italian town.”
