NICK CANNON’S FORMAT SPANNING PROWESS MAKES ITS LATEST DECLARATION AT HARRAH’S POOL FOR AN EARLY SPRING BASH

BY EVAN MONROE

In the course of a 20 year plus career that spans film, television, music recording and producing, and onstage performance even authoring a children’s book Nick Cannon has acquired a swoop of capabilities that could make even the “EGOT” class of stars bright with envy. He spent eight seasons as the host of NBC’s competition series America’s Got Talent, is the creator, producer, and host of the fanfavorite MTV show Wild ‘N Out (which returns for its ninth season this summer), and recently executive produced and appeared in a cross-country romp with select Wild ‘N Out comedians and improvisation artists for the MTV2 show, Wild ‘N On Tour.

The 38 year old San Diego native also simultaneously serves as chairman, development consultant, and talent for Teen Nick a TV channel owned by Nickelodeon Group that aims to attract teens with programming that portrays “the true breadth and depth of adolescence.” His latest film was 2017’s King of the Dancehall, which he wrote, produced, directed and starred in the tale of a young man from Brooklyn who heads to Jamaica in order to enter the local dance scene. Joining him in the cast were Busta Rhymes, Beenie Man, Whoopi Goldberg, and Louis Gossett, Jr.

NICK CANNON

When not in A-lister circles, he works with the Nick Cannon Foundation a philanthropy with the goal of economically empowering underserved youth through entrepreneurship education, workforce development, and by exposing them to the business side of the multibillion dollar media/ entertainment industry.

His March 30 appearance at The Pool After Dark in Atlantic City also offers a VIP experience of reserving a poolside table or private cabana with a secluded hot tub.
