baubles on the beach
Custom fine jeweler Yanina & Co. is launching an Oceanside pop-up for summer. Operations manager Branden Sheehan noted, “The pop-up is going to be an amazing jewelry shopping experience, just steps from the ocean. We launched a whole new line of beautiful easy-to-wear jewelry, with a focus on bringing some bling to the beach. We have a fantastic spring/summer collection that is geared toward the beach-chic clientele and meant to go straight from lounging in the sun to an oceanside night out. We have expanded our selection of our popular Diamond Huggies Earring collection, layering necklaces, and diamond link bracelets. Trends are leaning toward chunkier gold pieces and beautifully refined dainty diamond pieces. Yanina has been working hard designing beautiful paper clip style gold link necklaces and Cuban curb link bracelets and chains, as well as wonderful dainty and unique layering necklaces and bracelets.”

The instantly iconic Asbury Hotel has been playing host to throngs of beachgoers since it transformed the city’s former Salvation Army building in 2016. But the showpiece of this revamped property is Sound booth, one of the hotel’s three bars. Inspired by Asbury Park’s famed musical legacy, Sound booth flaunts a wall stacked with vinyl, cassette tapes, and CDs, and hosts local artists who’ll play your favorite tunes as you sip an old-fashioned.

SHOP TILL YOU DROP

More a cultural institution than mere hotel, the Berkeley Oceanfront has long been an historic landmark along the Jersey coast. Amongst the lodging and dining thoroughfare, the hotel is also a homecoming of sorts for the discerning shopper, filled with unique upscale finds. Two participating brands in the hotel’s seasonal pop-up share their vision for their curated collections and a sneak peak of things to come.

For its Berkeley pop-up, Gems Boutique is excited to launch a philanthropic endeavor with brand Hackett. Gwen Esposito of Gems noted, “Hackett went through a very dicult time during the pandemic. My father-in-law, Frank Esposito, and Sciortino Tailors helped by purchasing a large amount of inventory to prevent them from shutting down during the pandemic. We are happy to be carrying this beautiful brand while expanding into the men’s line of clothing at the Berkeley Oceanfront hotel.”
