ROLEX’S STUNNING PEARLMASTER 39 NOW AVAILABLE IN GORGEOUS EVEROSE GOLD

BY MATT MIZRACH

In terms of quality, timeless design, and sheer beauty, Rolex’s Yacht Master, Daytona, Deepsea, or Datejust have precious few brand competitors. In many ways, then, what is left for the 114 year old company (founded in London, but headquartered in Geneva after World War II) to do is compete with itself.

Enter the Pearl master 39, a striking addition to the maker’s growing collection of women’s timepiece lines that have steadily increased in popularity. Its band is composed entirely of the watchmaker’s patented Everose Gold, an 18 karat pink gold alloy Rolex premiered in 2005 and which has been a mainstay since. Thirty nine millimeters in diameter, it features a scratch resistant sapphire crystal face, aubergine dial, the latest calibre 3235 movement, and diamonds galore both surrounding the bezel and in gold settings throughout the dial. Waterproof up to 330 feet, its a wonderful mix of sportiness and sophistication.
