Christian Dior’s artistic director Kim Jones has long drawn inspiration from revered artists to churn out winning looks for the label’s men’s collections. For her 2022 resort collection, however, Jones took cues from Dior’s archival designs by former three-decade creative head Marc Bohan to curate looks that are a dead ringer for classic ‘60s style. Jones incorporated nostalgic details like Bohan’s graphic patterns, namely the Dior oblique and heart shaped CD, throughout the entire collection. A unique mash-up of the atelier’s house codes resulted in a dreamy array of breezy nylon windbreakers, billowy pants, and boxy suit jackets that exude a sophisticated, sporty feel. A warm color palette of forest green, dusty pink, deep brown, and rich navy keeps the pieces approachable, while hints of silver and leopard print embrace the avant-garde. dior.com

Over the past two decades, big-name sports brands and fashion designers have entered into mind-blowing partnerships, resulting in sensational street wear looks that have garnered instant cult followings.
