Las Vegas
BY AMBER GIBSON
PUMPED UP
Named after Lisa Vanderpump’s late Pomeranian, Gigolo is the latest late-night haunt inside the reality star’s newly opened hotel. The intimate, 50-seat lounge is a darker, sexier counterpoint to some of Vanderpump’s more floral Vegas rooms. The sultry design, created by Vanderpump with longtime collaborator Nick Alain and daughter Pandora Vanderpump Sabo, goes all-in on nocturnal glamour. Deep burgundy, black velvet, draped curtains, and black metal latticework surround a circular central bar, while petal-like crimson light fixtures hover overhead like inverted roses. The menu is teeming with playful innuendos: the martini-for-two is dubbed Talk Dirty to Me, while a blackberry-forward riff on an Old Fashioned is billed as the Slow Burn. Decadent nibbles are on hand to accompany the drinks. 3595 Las Vegas Blvd S, caesars.com/vanderpump-hotel
VINYL WITH A VIEW
Inspired by 1970s Japanese hi-fi listening lounges, Vinyl Room blends elevated dining, inventive cocktails, and immersive music programming into a new all-night destination, open seven nights a week on the 63rd floor of Mandalay Bay. Asian-inspired shared plates include king crab head dumplings, lobster salad, Wagyu steak donabe, a massive 32-oz tomahawk steak, sushi tots, and chili crunch chicken wings. Music-inspired cocktails include theatrical tableside presentations, like a vinyl-record flask poured into a cloud of smoke. Stop in for happy hour before a night out at House of Blues Las Vegas, stay for dinner, or settle in for late-night listening. 3950 Las Vegas Boulevard S, vinylroomlasvegas.com

WHO’S AFRAID OF THE DARK?
Darkfield blends immersive audio technology with theater for three mind-bending experiences at AREA15. Set inside custom-built shipping containers, each 20-minute scene unfolds in complete darkness, where sound becomes the world around you. Eerily realistic 360-degree binaural audio replicating the movement of sound from different directions and distances is paired with scent and subtle movement to create intensely psychological worlds. There’s Séance, a twist on a traditional séance guided by an unseen medium; Flight, where two versions of reality unfold simultaneously aboard an airplane; and Placebo, which invites guests to lie down in a clinical setting and drift into a shared dream. 3215 S Rancho Drive, darkfield.live/las-vegas
