DESERT GREENS

One of Vegas’ favorite golf courses, Rio Secco Golf Club, just unveiled a brand new identity as Serket. Located 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and designed by renowned golf course architect Rees Jones, Serket pairs championship-level play with demanding Mojave Desert landscapes. Inspired by the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection, the rebrand introduces a striking new look anchored by a bold scorpion logo, symbolizing both power and resilience, while preserving the course’s world-class golf experience. Expect refreshed signage, tee markers, scorecards, and thoughtful design touches across the property with the same great course. 2851 Grand Hills Dr, Henderson, golfserket.com
HOLIDAY HAIR

Polished glamour is back this holiday season, but with a modern twist, according to IGK Salon owner Leo Izquierdo. “Think sleek blowouts, high-shine glass hair, and soft Hollywood waves,” he said. IGK Salon, located on the second floor of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, has cemented a reputation as the best salon on the Strip for updos and sexy holiday hairstyles. Izquierdo recommends a low, sleek bun with a festive accessory to transition from day to night, or a half-up, half-down style with soft waves for a more casual, effortless look. Customized gloss treatments at IGK offer instant shine for a bouncy blowout, and you can purchase IGK’s Expensive clear gloss top coat as a high-shine UV protection mask to use at home. 2777 Las Vegas Boulevard S, igkhair.com
MARTHA’S PIEROGIES

Martha Stewart fans can now learn how to make one of her most iconic menu items at The Bedford. Big Martha’s Pierogies are one of Martha’s most cherished family recipes, passed down from her mother, and now she’s sharing the recipe with guests. Pierogi classes are offered on Thursdays at 2:30 p.m. and can be booked via OpenTable. Participants learn how to make the perfect Polish potato dumplings and receive an embroidered apron. Plus, guests are invited to enjoy a 4 p.m. dinner reservation inside the restaurant’s Brown Room, designed to replicate Martha’s own dining room in Bedford, New York. The reservation includes two complimentary glasses of Champagne and classic caviar service with traditional accoutrements. 3655 S Las Vegas Boulevard, caesars. com/paris-las-vegas/restaurants/the-bedford-by martha-stewart
CHEAT DAY DREAMIN’

After shuttering its doors in the Cosmopolitan last May, Holsteins is back, bringing its Instagram-famous burgers and shakes to a new off-Strip locale in the Arts District. Superfans will find the same over-the-top comfort fare that put the original location on the map: gourmet burgers, boozy milkshakes, and hangover-curing apps like golden cheese curds with roasted tomato dipping sauce, corned beef bites with sauerkraut and Swiss cheese, and a fan-favorite buffalo chicken dip. Standout handhelds include the Billionaire burger, made with foie gras, onion marmalade, and port reduction, and the French Onion burger made with a double smash patty, Swiss, and grilled and crispy onions, but the real stars of the menu are the decadent shakes, available with or without booze. 1216 S Main Street, holsteinsburgers.com
