SOAK OF SPLENDOR

Touted as the first and only authentic Turkish hammam in the country, the newly debuted Hürrem Hammam Wellness & Spa in Northern Miami celebrates the hallowed Ottoman-era ritual in its extravagant 20,000-square-foot wellness center designed after the facilities in Istanbul’s Topkapi Palace. Guests are welcomed with a cup of hibiscus and honey tea (once loved by Sultan Hürrem, widely regarded as the most powerful and influential woman in Ottoman history) before beginning their healing journey via an array of classic rituals and royal treatments that date back thousands of years, from deeply exfoliating scrubs and mud wraps to full-body massages and customized, multi-step facials. The facilities are gorgeous, finished with gilded accents like pure marble sinks, hand-carved doors, mosaic chandeliers, and jewel-toned tiles, all kissed with the faint whisper of Damask rose. hurremhammams.com

STEAK YOUR CLAIM

The Magic City’s quintessential over-the-top elegance is on full display at Lafayette Steakhouse, a Brickell newcomer cloaked in mahogany, oak, and leather. Thick velvet drapes open to reveal the main dining room, where plates of American Wagyu tomahawk and milk-fed veal chops are served on white linen-topped tables. Start with a dozen Sebastian Silvers oysters and a glass of Dom before diving into the main menu, which also features grilled branzino, Chilean sea bass, and a gourmet burger in addition to the house specialty steaks. Cocktails are a big deal here, too, mixed behind a black marble bar and finished with creative accents like coconut essence, pink peppercorns, and cucumber foam. lafayette-miami.com

FRESH FROM THE OVEN

It took less than a month after Casa Bake debuted in South Beach for owner/ French pastry chef Benoît Pagliardini’s baked goods to go viral, with lines forming as early as 7 a.m. (Pro tip: fans can also order online to skip the wait.) Every croissant, Danish, and loaf is baked in-house daily, and spans flavors like chocolate, almond, and guava and cheese. There’s also a selection of delicate cakes, and a fan-favorite vanilla le millefeuille. The chef also hosts baking classes on the property, though be sure to plan in advance as spots fill up quickly. casa-bake.com

RIVIERA REVEAL

The Miami River serves as the backdrop for Casa Neos, a brand-new dining, drinking, and dreaming venue from the ultra-luxury hospitality firm Riviera Dining Group (the visionaries behind several city haute-spots like Mila and Ava). Though the venue spans 30,000 square feet, the experience is super exclusive: the glamorous beach club is members only, and the boutique hotel only spans four themed villas. The rooms named Gaia, Terra, Luna, and Aura – are deeply immersive sanctuaries filled with artisan textiles, rich all-natural materials, hand-made linens, and locally curated artworks. Expect Le Labo bath products, fluffy robes and slippers, and hand-woven hammocks overlooking the river and wrestling palms. casa-neos.com
