DINING IN DYSTOPIA

Salvage City Supper Club, the eccentric immersive dining spectacle born at EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) in Las Vegas, makes its New York City debut at the storied Paradise Club inside The Times Square EDITION. The two-hour immersive dinner and show are set at the edge of the world’s ruin, where decadence thrives with chaos. Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser serves a multi-course family style dinner with cocktail and wine pairings while dancers, acrobats and performers move throughout the space for a high-octane fusion of gastronomy, entertainment and art. The residency runs through August 29 with nightly performances Friday and Saturday, plus occasional Thursday shows. Tickets start at $270++. 20 Times Square, 701 7th Avenue, theparadiseclubnyc.com/salvage-city-supper-club-dinner-show

THE FUTURE OF COUTURE

Opening May 16 at the Brooklyn Museum, Iris van Herpen: Sculpting the Senses is a fully immersive encounter with the future of design. The exhibition first debuted in Paris in late 2023, and the Brooklyn stop serves as the global super-show’s North American debut. Bringing together more than 140 of the Dutch couturier’s ethereal creations alongside contemporary artworks and scientific artifacts, the show traces her singular ability to dissolve the boundaries between couture, technology, and the natural world. Iris van Herpen’s pieces – often inspired by biomimicry, fractal geometry, and neuroscience – appear almost untethered from gravity, transforming garments into sculptural forms that explore the body’s relationship to space and environment. Open through December 6. 200 Eastern Pkwy, Brooklyn, brooklynmuseum.org/exhibitions/iris-van-herpen
