With holdings in key destination cities like Dubai, Paris, Bali, Beijing, and many more, Bulgari continues to grow its burgeoning portfolio of luxury resorts and hotels. Well on the way to achieving its goal of becoming the leading luxury hospitality collection in the world, the iconic fashion house is slated to open outposts in Rome and Tokyo next year. But it’s Bulgari’s lofty plans for the 13th gem in its glittering collection a five-star Shangri-La surrounded by the serene waters of the Maldives that is garnering the most attention amongst jet-setters and industry insiders.

Set to open in 2025, the Bulgari Resort Ranfushi (translating to “Little Gold Island” in the native Dhivehi) will comprise 20 hectares of Raa Atoll’s most pristine natural landscape. Designed by the Italian architectural firm ACPV Architects, the resort will be home to 54 suites, including an exclusive villa on its own private island, 33 beach villas with private swimming pools, and 20 overwater villas. Aside from the paradisiacal surroundings of the archipelago, guests can also expect heavenly culinary experiences. Four signature restaurants will be on site, including the Michelin-rated Il Ristorante, Niko Romito, the Chinese-themed Bao Li Xuan, Japanese concept Hōseki, and a more casual experience at La Spaggia. Like the existing Bulgari Resorts, Ranfushi will be home to the Bulgari Bar, Spa, Boutique, and La Galleria. With a slate of additional hotels scheduled to open in the next five years including luxury locales in Miami and Los Angeles Bulgari’s ascension to the top of the hospitality industry appears gloriously imminent.
