March 30th was a night to remember at the Beach Tavern, in Monmouth Beach. Local resident and guitarist Pat Scire, along with musician Danny Weltman, put together a vast array of local talent to kick o the spring season, and Tavern owners the Chrysanthopoulos family reported that there were more than 260 reservations that night.

Weltman is a local musician who has been playing for over 30 years and kicked off the first set list with Scire, one which lasted about an hour. Shortly after, Mitchell Ansell joined the band as lead singer to belt out Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here.” Dressed in a pink sports jacket and bow tie, the crowd went crazy for him. New guitarist Chris Cole, making his first public appearance, joined in for a three song set, with another and upcoming local guitarist, Tony Chrysanthopoulos, joining in, followed by performers Ashley Earle and Bella Scortino.
