The recently appointed Creative Director, Chemena Kamali returned to her roots at the Chloé fashion house in late 2023, with a focus on capturing the essence of the Chloé girl while diving into the brand’s archives and re-invigorating its bohemian spirit. Her summer 2025 line named “Freedom Collection,” debuted at the Tennis Club de Paris with dreamy vacation inspired looks that were bright, airy, and ultra-feminine. Bubble dresses and bottoms derived from the ‘50s were made from silky materials that draped effortlessly, and lace lingerie nodding to the ‘70s era radiated sensuality. Prairie dresses were printed with delicate florals, and cotton jackets in sherbet hues were based on the brand’s puff-sleeved blouses. Swimsuits adorned with whimsical prints, frilly ruffles, and bows added a playful element, and crochet knits epitomized boho style. The models were accessorized with shell jewelry and carried hobo bags embellished with charms, while jelly sandals screamed summer. The sun-kissed collection revisited the brand’s heritage, adding a contemporary sensibility to a tropical fantasy.
