A fashion shoot was hosted by the Hartshorne Mansion on the Shrewsbury River, in order to raise funds to help prepare students to enter the design world. Commissioned by the Under fashion Club, Andrei Jackamets, a commercial advertising photographer from Asbury Park, was selected for the assignment, and thanks to his experienced team of make-up, hair, and production experts, the event was a great success.
Almost one million dollars in scholarships, awards, internships, and grants have been awarded by the Under fashion Club to talented fashion industry students bound for the Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons School of Design, and e New School of Design, to usher in, as its mission statement reads, “a new era of innovation and technology giving students the opportunity to think and perform beyond traditional bricks and mortar retail.”
