After starting a career as a TV host and model, the diagnosis of a brain tumor brought this Aussie to the tables

From her native Australia to her adopted home of The City Of Angels, and beyond, Georgia Sinclair, aka Saint Clair, has carved a durable identity in a profession heavily dominated by men. Not surprisingly, she’s no shrinking violet, spinning sets on some of the hottest dance floors in the world and winning praise from a number of the world’s leading performers in her field, including DJ Irie, DJ Ruckus, and DJ Five.
Saint Clair’s musical career started in Australia in 2009, and for remarkable reasons. After starting a professional life as a TV host and model, she was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. She left the show, focused on her health, and began DJ’ing, first as a distraction—inspired as she was by the work of artists like Chicane, Sash, Tiësto, Paul Oakenfold, and Fat Boy Slim. After teaching herself to mix on an old pair of Pioneer CDJs loaned to her by a friend, it wasn’t long before she mastered the art of beat matching, and offers began flowing from premiere nightclubs
and brands.
In late 2014, Saint Clair relocated to Los Angeles and completed a one-year diploma from L.A.’s Icon Collective music production school. Knowing only a handful of people, she let her skills do the talking, and also drove regularly to Vegas to introduce herself to club owners there. The latter effort won her a headlining residency at Steve Wynn’s Tryst Nightclub and the attention of the legendary Sujit Kundu from American powerhouse agency SKAM Artist. Now a featured DJ there, she maintains residencies in clubs like Omnia Nightclub in Las Vegas, Studio Paris Nightclub in Chicago, Sapphire NYC, and Atlantic City’s Premier Nightclub.
