DIOR USES AN EXTRACT FROM FRENCH GRAPE HARVESTING TO PRODUCE ITS 90-DAY SKIN RESTORING SYSTEM

BY GEMMA THOMAS

L’Or de Vie La Cure, by Dior, is a skin restorer obtained via the pressing of grapes—its main ingredient derived from the latter stage of each year’s harvest. Composition varies as a result of climatic in uences, but the summer of 2014 was one of the 10 warmest ever recorded in Yquem, the scorching heat exalting the maturation of the grapes, producing an exceptionally high-caliber harvest with dense and fertile pulp. Using a branded extraction process known as Multi-Pressing, Dior Science produced a sequence of products—a limited-edition and numbered set that is, in essence, a vintage beauty product, sealed with gold string and white wax seals and presented in a vintage box.

Apply L’Or de Vie La Cure morning and night for three months (according to Dior, the time needed for complete renewal of all the skin’s components), and the anti-aging treatment for face, neck and decollete promises remarkable results
