RELYING ON ITS PREDILECTION FOR PUSHING BOUNDARIES COUPLED WITH UNPARALLELED HOROLOGICAL EXPERTISE, HUBLOT HAS RELEASED THREE NEW JAW-DROPPING INTERPRETATIONS OF ITS OWN ICONIC LINES, JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

BY MATTHEW MIZRACH

There’s no denying that luxury Swiss watchmaker Hublot has a knack for churning out iconic designs; it is behind some of the most instantly recognizable timepiece collections on the planet. Existing somewhere at the intersection of luxury fashion and works of art, designs such as “The Big Bang Unico” and “Classic Fusion” represent a dedication to craft witnessed in a precious few of Hublot’s contemporaries. This year, the maverick horology brand has once again set an industry benchmark, while also redefining some of its most successful collections to date. Presenting the utterly dazzling and remarkably crafted Haute Joallerie (high jewelry) 2020 Collection.

Taking three prominent Hublot designs and reimagining them in “high jewelry” concepts was no easy feat. The Big Bang Unico High Jewelry alone boasts 334 baguette cut diamonds (12.5 total carats) set on the face and bezel. That, combined with some of the most complex timepiece movements ever assembled in a watch, has made this collection much harder to realize. On this level of difficulty, Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe expressed: “The discipline is both science and absolute precision as an art form, the aim of which is to maximize the brilliance of the stones within the limits of an extremely confined space. Overcoming such tough challenges and coupling tradition with innovation are the driving forces of our ambition.” Check out all three of the Haute Joallerie Designs, including Big Bang Unico High Jewelry, Spirit of Big Bang Unico High Jewelry, and Classic Fusion High Jewelry at hublot.com.
