CASA HOSTS GALA FOR CHILDREN

In April, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) hosted its annual Night Under the Stars Gala on behalf of abused and neglected children in foster care. The event took place from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Shadow brook in Shrews bury. Proceeds from the Gala directly benefited the CASA program. Through its annual Gala, CASA for Children recognizes Monmouth County leaders who have made a difference in the community and the lives of children in need. Ginny Padula, who has shown continuous outstanding service to the Monmouth County Community, was honored this year with the inaugural CindiVan Brunt Humanitarian Award. Ginny’s passion for giving back to the community occurs throughout the year, as well as every December when she hosts a “Spirit of Giving” event at her Town & Country Design Studio in Red Bank for CASA of Monmouth County.
