Known widely, and remarkably, as the inventor of sports fashion style, Bogner, founded in 1932 and based in Munich, combined technical prowess in and flair for making apparel so perfect for winter sports that it was ultimately named official outfitter of the German winter Olympic team, and has supported athletes and events in skiing and snowboarding for decades. One of its principal minds, Willy Bogner, also created “ski choreographies” breathtaking alpine chases for James Bond films as well as an Olympia application film for the Sochi games in 2014.

Co-head Sônia Bogner, for her part, combines creativity with quality, chic with charisma. After attending high school in Brazil, she studied English in Cambridge during the early 1970s, then moved to Rome to live with her sister (actress Florinda Bolkan), and work as a model for Valentino, before taking on her role in one of the world’s most successful designers of winterwear its line inclusive of knits, jackets, shirts, pants, and accessories.
