Catching up with chloé
Inspired by all her peers at Chloé, Natacha Ramsay-Levi, head designer at the French fashion house, created her spring 2018 collection by wielding nostalgia including a bit of bohemia on Waight Keller’s micro floral prints, Karl Lagerfeld’s painted dresses, and Stella McCartney’s fascination with horses in little embroidered motifs on trims and jackets. Throughout, Ramsay-Levi offered an ode to Chloe’s colorful past, but with the relevance and modernity of du jour.

Awaken the spirit
Stride into summer in preppy prints, pastels, and wispy dresses that make you feel like an ocean breeze. Australian designer Camilla Franks infuses designs with her Bondi beach adventures and Sydney lifestyle. Her collection highlights luxurious silks and crystal embellishments, and has over time come to encompass women’s, men’s and children’s fashion, swim, accessories and home collections that aim to “awaken the adventurous spirit that resides within all of us,” as Franks puts it.

CLEANSLATE
We may not have a crystal ball, but were spot-on in predicting that white will be huge this season. Whether in stylish separates or from head-to-toe, the non-color color is back with a bang. Avant-garde houses like Roland Mouret and Prada made a splash on their runways in Victorian whites and Pantone’s new go to shade: Coconut Milk.
