Millhurst Mills Inc.launched in 1925 as a gristmill for wheat, grain, and flour, as well as a place for social gatherings. It eventually expanding into a lumberyard, and soon after a home improvement center. The family owned and operated business, in Manalapan, has developed its wholesale and import presence over the years, and after Hurricane Sandy in 2012, its stock kitchen trade exploded. The company also offers field-measuring appointments and design services, and provides an alternative shopping experience for homeowners requiring more design assistance.

In October of last year, its newest division was created: Millhurst Design Center (MDC). An upscale kitchen and bath showroom and now in its final phase of completion, it is a 5,000 square foot facility replete with kitchen and bath vignettes, along with a tile display room and a cabinetry sample room. In-home measuring services, interactive design renderings, and detailed project coordination will be additional services on hand there.
