CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN APPLIES HIS PRACTICAL MAGIC TO A CLASSIC MEN’S STYLE

BY KIMBERLY LANDAU

The son of a cabinet maker dad who made his home in Paris’s 12th arrondissement, Christian Louboutin gathered at a very early age an appreciation for the vital role that structure and support play in just about every endeavor. Ignoring typical studies, Christian began sketching shoes in his early teens, opened his first shoe shop in Paris in 1991 and fame soon followed.

Though he’s best known for women’s shoes (ah, those marvelous stilettos!), the 54 year old designer’s men’s lines offer the same signature structural prowess. Now, these chic statement shoes are available at CoCo Parì—one of very few boutiques to showcase such a range of the newest and very best collections of shoes for men and women.
