Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Ronnie Spector & the Ronettes will perform at the historic Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank on April 14th to benefit the Food Bank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties. Special guest Remember Jones will be opening the show. Spector, who rose to fame in the 1960s as the lead singer of the ultimate Girl Group, The Ronettes, with hits like “Baby I Love You,” “Walking in the Rain,” and “Be My Baby,” is no stranger to the Jersey Shore she’s recorded with Bruce Springsteen and sang a duet with Southside Johnny. She will be joined on stage with Remember Jones, who returns to the Basie stage after performing to a sellout crowd in December. Former President Bill Clinton will visit the New Jersey Performing Arts Center on April 12th as part of the New Jersey Speakers Series, presented by Fairleigh Dickinson University. Clinton is the seventh speaker in the series, which has featured guests like former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, journalist Cokie Roberts, and House of Cards and Blade Runner 2049 actor Robin Wright. International pop star P!NK will bring her Beautiful Trauma tour to the Prudential Center on April 14th in support of her seventh studio album (of the same name). Born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, the 38-year-old has sold over 40 million albums and is famed for her acrobatic performances. This is the seventh tour for the star, who last hit the road on the 2013-2014 The Truth About Love Tour, which saw her play 142 sold-out shows across 13 countries.
