SAUVÉ IN MAUVE

Last spring, the iconic American fashion house Ralph Lauren debuted a new luxury concept store in Miami’s ultra swanky Design District. Stretching 4,135 square feet, the double height boutique flaunts a sleek, contemporary palette of warm teak wood, white tile, blond mahogany, and stainless steel, a look inspired by Miami’s famous cavalcade of million dollar yachts and waterfront mansions. Browse select pieces from RL’s Men’s Purple Label and Women’s Collection, plus an assortment of furniture from Ralph Lauren Home and location exclusive handbags and accessories. BON APPETIT

Last November, Giorgina made its Wynwood debut, a swanky Italian super bistro from the Mexico City based hospitality firm Grupo Mandolina. Inspired by the relaxed glamour of the Amalfi Coast, the 4,500 square foot space features romantic, cream and yellow tinted décor, large arched windows, and a vine enveloped ceiling brimming with more than 5,000 fresh lemons. Executive chef Hector Caspio’s menu leans classic, but a closer look reveals a few creative surprises: shrimp scampi is spiced with Calabrian oil, for instance, while a 14 oz aged rib eye is rubbed with rosemary and sea salt. There’s a platter of fresh pastas and pizzas, too, plus a fan favorite gooseberry panna cotta for the grand finale. 2700 N Miami Avenue, giorginamiami.com
