INDUSTRY: DOES YOUR BACKGROUND INFLUENCE YOUR LOOK?
BELLA BARBARO: My background as a singer and performer since I was a child developed into a love of being in front of a camera, styling my own outfits and expressing my personality based on the event. I first started modeling when I was 13. I won a singing competition where the prize was a photo shoot at the beach! I had so much fun during the shoot, I knew that this was a natural career path for me and was motivated to pursue it.

IM: TELL US ABOUT YOUR CAREER.
BB: I have been modeling since I was 13 as I was also working on my singing career. My modeling career really started to take off when I signed with Posh Models at the age of 19. I do a lot of events with them, and each one is so much more fun than the next. With each job, it helps me branch out to more modeling opportunities, and I am so thankful. I’m also a singer/songwriter so I’m always posting singing clips and promoting my new music. My modeling skills are enhanced because my singing career made me extremely confident and comfortable in front of the cam- era, being on stage, and filming.

IM: TELL US ABOUT SOME GIGS YOU’VE DONE.
BB: I model for small clothing companies as well as jewelry companies. I also do a lot of beach photo shoots because I work with a lot of swim- suit companies. I’m so lucky to have worked with so many talented, amazing photographers. The modeling events, with my agency Posh Models, has also strengthened my skills in modeling/ acting/performing while interacting with guests and/or a live crowd in real time.

IM: FAVORITE THING ABOUT THE HOLIDAYS?
BB: My favorite thing about the holiday season is definitely spending time with my family and doing all of our fun traditions. We are a large Italian family that comes together to eat, talk, laugh, cook, sing, dance, eat some more, and simply enjoy and love each other. While being home for the holidays and spending more time with my family is always great, my career comes first and keeps me very busy and on the go. I enjoy holiday modeling shoots since the holidays hold a close place in my heart. It’s easy to enjoy and bring genuine passion to all holiday modeling jobs.
