For Boss’s fall-winter 2019 collection, Chief Brand Officer, Ingo Wilts (former creative director of menswear at Tommy Hilfiger in Amsterdam), didn’t stray from the brand’s core rules, except for occasional hints of high-octane color, like a shocking pink suit or deep-purple winter coat, the latter a particular nod to America’s fashion capital, the Big Apple. Modern tailored looks outlined the collection, punctuated by altered proportions, sporty influences, and minimalism. From casual moments to more formal ones, it offered a multitude of options for the fast approaching glacial months.
